Services Offered

In our six-bed specialized unit we provide end of life care to patients in the comfort of a home-like setting. We preserve dignity and help eliminate the stressors of terminal illness care. The Barbara E. Cheung Memorial staff in collaboration with a certified hospice program addresses issues of pain management, provides emotional, spiritual and bereavement support , and enhances the quality of life of both patient and family. The hospice cadre of professionals has advanced training and expertise and offers a holistic approach to end of life issues. This specialized team of professionals including a medical director, physicians, nurses, a social worker, certified nursing aides, a chaplain and volunteers maintains a compassionate treatment plan for patients.
