Philosophy

The hospice program helps the patient and family cope with the effects of life-limiting medical conditions.  The goal is to have patients be made as comfortable as possible and have their quality of life maximized physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.  The expertise of both the Roosevelt Care Center staff and the hospice staff create an exceptional collaborative team that best serves the symptom control of patients.  Hospice is a personal and intimate approach to care which at the same time offers a wide support network for patients and families.
