Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge

Today, a quiet Old Bridge hillside amidst a section of unspoiled forest is home to Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge. While the scenery boasts a rustic charm, the facility is still conveniently located near the intersection of Routes 9 and 18.

The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders began construction on the 105,000-square-foot center in 2009, and Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge officially opened its doors in the fall of 2011. The intent was to extend all of Roosevelt Care's services to a more convenient location for South County families and residents.

Our private and semi-private rooms compliment the warm décor of the building and come complete with beechwood closets, televisions equipped with cable, as well as a double-sink design for each restroom. Our public areas on each floor are a string of diverse settings, both quiet and social, and can play host to a meeting of friends, a visit with family members, for reading, crafting or just plain relaxing.

The Old Bridge building was designed and certified as a Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building. That title is designated for buildings that take extreme lengths to minimize environmental impact. In Old Bridge's case, recycled materials were used for flooring, roof shingles and doors, the mechanical systems comprised of energy-efficient heating and cooling systems and building materials made up of products that emit no contaminants, all of which add to a healthier environment for our residents.
